Sponsored Bicycle Ride
The next Sponsored Bike Ride/Walk takes place on Saturday 12th September 2009. This annual event is an excellent way of raising funds for your own church as well as the Trust, as 50% of the money that you raise is returned to the church of your choice. In addition, there is the opportunity to visit and admire some of the wonderful Christian buildings in the County.
And if you do not feel like cycling, you can also go on foot. People of any age can take part as you can choose your own route, according to how many churches you wish to visit on the day. Most of the churches in the County will be open from 10.00 - 18.00, although there some that have to close earlier. To download a list of open churches click here.
